Fiber Arts of West Marin
Fiber Arts of West Marin was founded in 2008 by 3 fiber artsists. The goal of this group is to promote West Marin fiber artists and fiber producers. The first event was “Spinning Out of Control” an exhibition at the Bolinas Museum of locally hand spun yarn. There were some 8 participants with a vast variety of hand made, hand dyed and hand spun wools, flax, grass, alpaca, llama, silk, and other fibers. Currently we are working on a Fall Fiber Fest at Windrush farm in October 2009. Details to come soon.
